Past Projects
As part of Citizens Foundation for Better India (CFBI), foundation arm of Citizens Alliance Pvt. Ltd.), we have executed large-scale awareness & mobilization drives to support rural development.
Impact Assessment
This project aims to assess impact of estimate and assess the short term as well as long term change in lives of the target community through Natural leader program, Rural imformation center, Arogyam, Rural learning excellence program, and Kachre see kamai intervention. DLF Foundation intervented through various activities in rural clusters within Gurugram, Haryana, these interventions reflect in village facilities, education, livelihood opportunities, health issues and infrastructure in 2 clusters (10 villages).

Sustainable Growth Initiatives
BASF India Ltd, as a part of its CSR initiative, We have been working on the development of Dahej Village, Bharuch, Gujarat for the last three years. Starting its journey in November 2015 the organization has contributed towards the development of WASH and Education Domain. This project was coined as Gram Shobha. It’s a part of BASF’s CSR Initiative Project Saksham built particularly to empower communities. The organization has always focused on evidence-based solutions for sanitation and waste management activity and education in Dahej. Initially, a baseline survey was conducted in Dahej with direct interaction with 1100 households, 6 Aanganwadi centers, 4 schools, village PHC, etc. for collecting household information and general village practices towards sanitation and waste management and perspective towards education. Various focused group discussions which involved school principals, Sarpanch, Panchayat members, Talathi of the village, Aanganwadi workers, and Senior citizens of the village were conducted. All the FGDs were held in different hamlets with different age groups. In-depth interviews were also held with Aangawadi workers, school representatives, and panchayat representatives.
Community Development Programs
ABEF is empowering communities through innovative and impactful projects. In 2016, We (as citizens Alliance) the CEAT and RPGF CSR Project ‘Jeevan’ focused on promoting sanitation and WASH awareness in the village of Kone, Nasik. During this project, 45 individual household latrines (IHHL) were constructed to serve underprivileged households. Along with these facilities, 2 sets of toilets were constructed at primary and middle schools. Project Activities: Scoping and intervention planning, household and beneficiary identification, IHHL construction, WASH Awareness: Door to Door counseling, IEC activities, student sensitization through the ‘Swachhta Doot’ Program, WASH-Rally, swachhta play, folk-dance on sawachhta theme.
